ABOUT GREAT NECK TERRACE:

Great Neck Terrace is a qualified Cooperative Housing Corporation (Co Op) apartment located in Great Neck, New York in Nassau County, Long Island. It is comprised of 22 three story buildings and 31 garden apartment buildings, containing 648 apartment units and a management office. In addition, there are one-story garage structures containing 223 outdoor garage spaces, 466 outdoor parking spaces, and an outdoor pool complex.

The complex was built in 1949 and went Co Op in 1983. It is conveniently located just 10 minutes from exit 32 North (Little Neck Parkway) off the Long Island Expressway, and a five minute walk to the Long Island Rail Road (http://lirr42.mta.info/), a 33 minute train ride from New York City’s Penn Station.

The complex sits on 36 acres of beautifully manicured property and offers a secure and quiet community setting, hosting a number of amenities that include a private Olympic sized swimming pool with sun bathing area and volleyball court; playground and basketball court; small park; beautiful fountain, picnic tables and common areas; on-site security. It is also pet friendly with a dog run.

Great Neck Terrace is currently run by 7 elected individuals from the community and 2 sponsors who make up its Board of Directors, with the day to day operations managed by Akam Associates a leader in cooperative and condominium management. The grounds and infrastructure are maintained by a dedicated maintenance crew of 20 workers who take pride in its year round appearance and condition.

Great Neck Terrace can be accessed by the Long Island Expressway, Northern State Parkway or Northern Boulevard.
Also via the Little Neck stop on Long Island Rail Road.

From Long Island (L.I.E.):
Take the L.I.E. to exit 32 (Little Neck Parkway/ Douglaston Parkway). Follow the service road 0.2 miles and make a right onto Little Neck Parkway heading North. Follow Little Neck Parkway 0.8 miles to Northern Blvd. (route 25a East). Make a right onto Northern Blvd. and follow it 0.3 miles to the fifth traffic light. Bear left onto Great Neck Road. Turn left onto Water Mill Lane, or a hard left on to East Mill Drive.

From Long Island (Northern State Parkway):
Take the Northern State Parkway to exit 24, Little Neck Parkway heading North. Follow Little Neck Parkway 1.4 miles until Northern Blvd. (route 25a East). At Northern Blvd, make a right. At the fifth traffic light, bear left onto Great Neck Road. Turn left onto Water Mill Lane, or a hard left on to East Mill Drive.

From Queens, NYC, or points West (L.I.E.):
Take the L.I.E. to exit 32 (Little Neck Parkway/ Douglaston Parkway). Follow the service road 0.2 miles and make a left, under the overpass, onto Little Neck Parkway heading North. Follow Little Neck Parkway 0.8 miles to Northern Blvd. (route 25a East). Make a right onto Northern Blvd. and follow it 0.3 miles to the fifth traffic light. Bear left onto Great Neck Road. Turn left onto Water Mill Lane, or a hard left on to East Mill Drive.

From Queens, NYC, or points West (Grand Central Parkway):
Take the Grand Central Pkwy to exit 24 (Little Neck Parkway) and merge onto the service road. Make a left onto Little Neck Parkway and head North 1.5 miles to Northern Blvd. (route 25a East). Make a right onto Northern Blvd. and follow it 0.3 miles to the fifth traffic light. Bear left onto Great Neck Road. Turn left onto Water Mill Lane, or a hard left on to East Mill Drive.
